Sample Itinerary
Day One Early morning departure from (your home city) on non-stop jet service to Washington area airport.
Meet your deluxe motorcoach and guide, and depart for a day of touring.
The National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. The Udvar-Hazy Center tells the history of aviation and space flight. The displays include the Space Shuttle Enterprise, an SR-71 Blackbird, Dash 80 prototype of the Boeing 707, the B-17 Flying Fortress, an F-4 Phantom fighter, the B-29 Superfortress "Enola Gay", and the de Havilland Chipmunk.
National Air & Space Museum. Experience the history of flight at one of the world’s most visited museums, from the plane flown by the Wright brothers to the Apollo 11 command module.
National Museum of Natural History. The Hope Diamond, dinosaur fossils, and the world’s largest African bush elephant top the amazing natural treasures on display along with a live insect zoo.
National Museum of American History. The newly refurbished museum has over 3 million objects including the original Star Spangled Banner! Also on display are Dorothy’s Ruby Red Slippers and our First Ladies Inaugural Gowns, American quilts, cars, locomotives, and more.
Time to enjoy lunch on your own in any of the museum cafeterias.
Dinner included at a fun restaurant!
8:00pm Arrive at hotel and check in. Swim Party at your hotel pool is desired.
Day Two
7:00am Enjoy a full hot breakfast in your hotel.
8:00am Depart for a full day of touring to include ….

United States Capitol. A tour will be requested for your group. The most recognized symbol of democratic government in the world, the U.S. Capitol has housed Congress since 1800, and is where Congress meets to write the laws of our nation, and where presidents are inaugurated.
Enjoy lunch on own in the new Capitol Visitors Center.
Continue touring:
Tour the International Spy Museum, the first museum dedicated to international espionage! It is the only museum in the world to provide a perspective on an all but invisible profession. Features the largest collection of international espionage artifacts ever placed on public display.
National Archives Exhibit Hall where visitors will be welcomed to a new, state-of-the-art National Archives Experience. The spacious rotunda of the National Archives contains the original Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights.
National World War II Memorial. Located between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. The memorial honors the 16 million who served in the armed forces of the U.S. during World War II.
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial. This privately funded memorial has drawn millions who have come to touch more than 50,000 names, make pencil rubbings and leave flowers, letters, flags and personal mementos.
The Lincoln Memorial overlooks the Reflecting Pool. Inscriptions from his Gettysburg Address and Second Inaugural Address flank the 19-foot marble statue of our 16th President.
The Korean War Veterans Memorial. The triangular field contains nineteen ground troopers, clad in foul weather ponchos, fully equipped for battle. Representing those who supported the ground troops are hundreds of faces etched on a polished granite wall.

Night Illumination Tour:
The Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial. This memorial is unique as it is divided into four outdoor galleries - one for each of FDR’s terms in office.
The Jefferson Memorial. The 19-foot statue of the third president stands beneath a rotunda inscribed with passages from the Declaration of Independence and Jefferson’s other famous writings. Looking from the memorial across the Tidal Basin provides an unforgettable view of the city.
9:30pm Arrive at hotel.
Day Three
7:00am Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.
8:00am Depart for touring.
VIP tour of the White House… VIP tour will be requested for your group. "The President’s Palace," has been the official home of every U.S. President except George Washington.
Arlington National Cemetery. This is the final resting place for President John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and thousands of soldiers from every major U.S. war. Space Shuttle Challenger Astronaut’s Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknowns are also located here. (An appointment to lay a Wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier will be requested for your group).
Time for lunch on your own.
Pentagon Tour (tour will be requested for your group. This the world’s largest office building, with over 17 miles of hallways! The Pentagon is the headquarters of the US Department of Defense. The terrorists attacked it on September 11, 2001 which resulted in 180 deaths. We will take time to visit the new Memorial Garden and Chapel.
Depart for Mount Vernon, the home of George and Martha Washington is America’s most visited historic home. This Southern plantation and Museum details the life of the "Father of our Country".
7:00pm Dinner included, and time for evening entertainment.
Day Four
7:00am Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to check out.
8:30am Tour of United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (appointment will be requested). This somber and moving museum tells the story of the Holocaust through artifacts, films, and photos. .
A visit to the Washington National Cathedral, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, or the Franciscan Monastery and the Catacombs.
Enjoy lunch in Union Station with free time to explore the shops.
